The Challenge
Prior to the requirement of any fuel oil tank in the UK, a risk assessment must be undertaken to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Over 60,000 risk assessments are completed each year, using a legacy, paper based system.
As a company which has successfully acquired an advantage over competitors, through the strategic use and application of technology, Clarehill Plastics wished to develop a more efficient alternative to the current system.
The Solution
Working with Clarehill’s Marketing & Customer Service Department, Crafty Devil developed Harlequin Pro - an iOS based app, to supersede the current, paper based system. Harlequin Pro can be downloaded for free from Apple’s App Store and is suitable for use on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
If adopted by all oil tank installers in the UK, Harlequin Pro has the potential to render up to 60,000 pieces of paper redundant each year.
